Meet The Doctor

Dr. Stephanie Kelly

Dr. Stephanie Kelly was born and raised in Metro Detroit.  For most of her life, she suffered from debilitating migraines.  After seeing neurologist after neurologist, Dr. Kelly continued to experience migraines upwards of five times per week, even though she was taking many prescription medications to prevent them.  The worst part of this, however, was not the migraines, but instead the side effects from the medications.

After graduating from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!), Dr. Kelly realized she needed to do something different, as conventional medicine was not working.  A coworker suggested she see a chiropractor.  At first, she thought this was crazy, but quickly realized doing the same thing and expecting different results was crazy.  Dr. Kelly started seeing a chiropractor, who not only helped alleviate her migraines (which ultimately allowed her to stop taking medication), but also changed her health in ways never imagined.  Because of this life-altering experience, Dr. Kelly felt the need to help people in the same way she had been helped.  She decided to enroll in chiropractic school.

After graduating from Life University in 2009, Dr. Kelly and her husband, Dave, settled down in Chicago, where she opened a practice.  Realizing how much she missed her family, Dr. Kelly and her husband made the decision to leave the Windy City and return to Michigan in 2015, where she has lived in Berkley and worked as an associate for several years.  Dr. Kelly was very excited to extend her roots even deeper in Berkley, when she decided to open her second chiropractic practice on W. 12 Mile, Berkley Chiropractic, in 2021.

Dr. Kelly has completed her advanced training in Pre-Natal and Pediatric Chiropractic Care. She is Webster Technique Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. In addition, she has taken over a dozen seminars in the Gonstead Technique.  She has experience taking care of all types of patients and enjoys helping patients accomplish their specific health goals using various chiropractic methods.

When she is not adjusting patients, Dr. Kelly loves spending time at home with her family. When she has free time, she enjoys travelling with her husband, Dave, and her daughter, Josie; snuggling with her pup, Lily; cheering on her Michigan Wolverines, and venturing downtown to try everything Detroit has to offer.
